Hello

I bought an Expert Global preptest which includes 15 questions. I have done 2 of them. The test is great. It represents similar platform and scope of the real GMAT, and I really appreciate that.
On the other hand, I want to know the accuracy of the score for whom have used this test before, comparing to the real GMAT score you receives from the real test.

My first question is “Can the Expertglobal score represent the real GMAT score?” and if yes then “What is your actual score comparing to the Expertglobal score?”

My results from the expertglobal test
1. 670; Q46 V36 (10sep)
2. 670; Q49 V32 (17sep)

Moreover, I noticed that the number of my correct number is very low. And this makes me really wonder whether the score is accurate.
- Q46; 16/31 or 52% acc.
- Q49; 23/31 or 74% acc.
- V36; 20/36 or 56% acc.
- V32; 18/36 or 50% acc.

My another question is “Can one have a very low accuracy and can achieve V30+ and Q43+”?

I will take the real GMAT test next week. I have done the test 2 times before.
1. 500; Q43 V17 (in March)
2. 510; Q44 V17 (in June)
My expected score this time is around 580 (Q45 V25)

Hi
You can find lots of reviews for Expertglobal test as well as course in the below link:
https://gmatclub.com/reviews/experts-gl ... 99?fl=menu
Hope it helps.
Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, most reviews only tell how good it is, but they dont tell the actual accuracy between the expertglobal and the real GMAT score.

Hi Zatan99,

The scoring algorithm on the Official GMAT is far more complicated than most people realize. Since that algorithm is proprietary, no GMAT company has an exact match for it, thus CAT scores can vary a bit based on the 'biases' involved in their respective designs. The most realistic CATs available are the 6 from GMAC (the 2 free CATs, and each of the 2 that come with Exam Pack 1 and Exam Pack 2), but retaking a CAT that you've already taken is NOT a realistic way to assess your skills - since you will likely see some 'repeat' questions that you have already faced. Unfortunately, seeing even a couple of repeats can 'throw off' the Scoring Algorithm and impact your pacing, energy levels, fatigue, etc. (meaning that they would likely all appear to be better than they actually are). Thankfully, the CATs from Kaplan, MGMAT and Veritas are all 'close enough' to the real thing that they will provide you with a relatively realistic score assessment (assuming that you correctly take the CAT in a realistic fashion).

The last time that we discussed your studies was about 3 months ago (in mid-June). Which 'brands' of practice CATs/mocks have you used since then and how have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Hello Rich

Thank you for your reply. Wow its been 3 months already and I am still no where  . I practice mostly on OG19 and I also read on Manhattan Book. I will have the test next week, and after that I will spend my time practicing on OG20. Its a very hard work, hope I can increase this score. Good to talk to you.

Hi Zatan99,

If your current Test Date is more than 7 days away, and you are not feeling 'ready' to take the GMAT, then you might want to consider paying the rescheduling fee and pushing back your Test Date. Beyond that, I would be happy to help you plan out this next phase of your studies, but I'll need the answers to some questions (including the ones that I asked in my last post:

Which 'brands' of practice CATs/mocks have you used over the last 3 months and how have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Hi nazirali,

I'm not Zatan99, but I've given ExpertsGlobal Gmat prep test so I thought that I could weigh in to resolve your query

I've bought ExpertsGlobal 15 test GMAT prep test set and I've given all of them, there are few things that I would like to highlight here

1:ExpertsGlobal test series consists of 15 brilliant mock tests and Costs only $50. with other prep companies, you would usually get 3-5 test at the same price and I know quality and accuracy matters a lot, the concern I am going to address in my next point

2. There is a lot of similarity of these test to the actual GMAT exam
Though I 've found Quant section little hard as compare to actual GMAT,
this little hardness help me a lot in preparing for Quant, without Experts global test series it wouldn't be essay for me to reach Quant score of 50
I would like to add more about its comprehensive analysis
you will get performance report for each and every question and section, which is really helpful in finding your strengths and weak area

how was your actual score comparing to that of experts global?

My lowest score was 660 and the highest was 720 and I 've got 720 in the real exam. so I would say it is pretty much accurate
