Hi Louis14,

Can you take an official GMAC practice exam?

Hi, Scott. So, I attempted the first of the two free mocks available at mba.com. This was my second attempt at this mock (since you can take multiple attempts). I scored a 670 (Q41;V41). I'm not sure how reliable this score is given that many questions were repeated as far as verbal is concerned. For Quant, the GMATPREP software got stuck at question#27, and thereafter the screen became inactive, only to reactivate after the total time had finished. So, I couldn't even guess at the last four questions.

Please give me your sincere advice (as always) as to how reliable this score is, whether I would have scored better in Quant had I been able to just attempt the last four questions, and given my goal score of 700, where do I honestly stand? I need to take the test in the next week or so. Do you think I'm in a position to score a 700? :please

So, I took the free MGMAT mock test today and got a mere 610 (Q38;V35). After six months, this is what I got! I feel devastated. My biggest issue was time management. The Quant questions didn't seem to be the ones that could be solved within 2 minutes (or even three minutes, at times). I've heard the MGMAT tests are harder than the real GMAT. Is that true? I'll be extremely grateful if you could share how your MGMAT mock score(s) and your real GMAT scores compared. I need to be sure where I stand. Please HELP!!!

Official practice tests and our practice tests give you a good ballpark figure.
You can try one of our tests for free here: https://www.gmatclub.com/forum/veritas-prep-resource-links-no-longer-available-399979.html#/free-g ... tice-test/

But note that these are estimates. There are many factors at play when you take a test. Assume that your actual score would be within 30 points of the score you get on the test.
Also, what was your score when you started?

Thank you so much, ma'am. I will certainly take the test. When I started my score was 530.

That's a solid improvement! Take the test and report back your score.
