Hi Everyone,
I'm a 4th year med student starting residency on June 1st. I'm taking the GMAT to apply to b school after residency.
I took the GMAT in late feb and got scored 690 45Q 39V 8IR which i ended up cancelling with the goal of 700+ with 47+ Q.
I have been prepping for a retake which is scheduled for May 1st in Philadelphia. I called pearson on friday, and they said that I am still scheduled for that date, but it is subject to change.
If my GMAT on May 1st gets cancelled, I will not be able to take an in-person GMAT until after residency starts. I won't have time to prep during residency, so May 1st is essentially my last chance to take the exam until after residency (not ideal). My other option would be to take the online GMAT. The reason I don't like this option is because I can not void the score and I have no idea how they are going to scale it. (I also dont know how the online GMAT will be viewed 4 years from now when I apply to b school).
I'm really in need of some guidance!
Should I try the online version? Try to scramble to take it somewhere in May? Has anyone been able to take the in-person exam lately?
Thanks!
