Hey

My GMAT exam is due day after tomorrow(saturday)

I just retook my official mock 1(Thursday) and scored a disappointing 610(Q49, V27)
I had given Official mock 2(first time) on Monday and scored a 700(Q50, V35).
My initial score in official mock 1(first time) was 640(Q49, V29)

I have spent about a month and half preparing for GMAT, did a systematic topic-wise study. CR is defintely my weak area. For SC, even though I felt confident about it during my prep, I have made mistakes in the mock.

My target score is 700+ and I'm really disheartened by my last mock performance. Deadline for one of my college application is 31st October and I dont have ample time or funds to retake as well.
I'm really shattered, please help. Please suggest what should I do.

Mock tests are not an accurate representation of your actual score. Trust your preparation and face the actual exam with confidence.

All the best!

Hi sharmabhavika17,

The immediate 'uncertainty' right now is your actual 'ability level' - and based on this data, it's tough to say for certain what it is. Since you're so close to your Official Test Date, you have to be careful about trying to do too much studying (as 'cramming' is rarely beneficial with Exams such as the GMAT and taking that kind of approach would just increase your chances of 'burning out' before Test Day). This is meant to say that in these last couple of days, you should limit your studies to general practice and light review (NO CATs and NO 'cramming') - you would be better served by getting some extra rest so that you can go into Test Day calm, clear-headed and ready to work.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
