...Why not just take practice exams 4, 5, and 6?

Because i have my exam on 27th September and i want to practice as many gmat prep questions as I can. I'm planning to give the last practice exam just 2 days before D-Day, so in that case there won't be much time to take all the exams retests. But, if i can know that question bank is different for every pair of tests then i can take retest in between.

Ah I see, I think I misunderstood your goal, here.

I'm quite sure the question banks are separate. So if you reset CATs 1 and 2, you will not see practice problems from 3/4 and 5/6. (After all--they want you to pay for 3/4 and 5/6. When you pay for those, you're paying for the questions, since the algorithm is the same for all tests).
