Hello! this is my first time writing on GMAT club,
I took GMAT on
November 23rd, and it was 670 (Q48 V34).and I took it again
today (December 14) and it was 650 so I cancelled the score.
Not to make an excuse, but I think I am terrible at managing my anxiety and adjusting myself to new environment,
I could actually feel myself kind of panicking during the test when I can't seem to solve the question on the screen, I almost felt sick while taking verbal which made me feel like I couldn't read the texts properly..
I've been studying almost 5~6 hours a day every day since November 23rd, and my practice scores on official GMAC ranged between 680~730.For my R2 deadlines, I signed up for
another test on Jan 2nd, but this time online.
I heard pros and cons about online exam, but I thought it might actually be a better option for me as I seem to struggle at the test center environment (with wearing a mask the whole time and etc.),,
So now I have 2.5 weeks left, and my target score is 700.
What would be a good strategy for me to improve 30~40 points in 2.5 weeks? From no on I think I would be able to dedicate
3 hrs a day (with full time job and essays to write), and I think I have a pretty solid set of fundamental knowledge needed for the test.
I've already used up all 6 GMAC practice tests.. I tried not to use other materials too much, I've focused mostly on OG (the three-book bundle OG), and I practiced all of OG questions online to make myself comfortable with CAT setting. I've been watching many GMAT Club videos on YouTube, especially GMAT Ninja videos for verbal SC.
I think I've been rambling too much on this posting, (still kind of depressed about today's test, that I got a lower score than before)
but my point is, I need you experts' suggestions on me improving 30~40 points in 2.5 weeks, considering these factors listed above..
Thank you always for your help, GMAT Club has been so helpful for me as it made me feel less isolated and lonely throughout this journey esp. with this whole WFH and covid situation.
Thank you for help in advance and have a wonderful December!
