Hello Everyone,

Could anyone of you please share your experience of TTP verbal as I am planning to take the GMAT in the first half of the year? I have heard it's good but I am a non-native speaker & weak in Verbal. I am willing to put in the time and effort required but I want an honest review regarding their Verbal course.
My VA score was in the 20s when I last took it.
Will it help in improving my score?
PS-> I am already good in Quant so please don't elaborate on that section. (QA score when I last took the GMAT was 49).

Thanks in Advance :)

Hi piyush10613,

While looking for a course there's the obvious factors that one looks for - cost, content and teachers. But I'd recommend that you look for some other factors as well.

1. Look for a course that not only teaches you concepts but also teaches you the application of these concepts. GMAT is a test of application skills and as such this is a crucial factor. A course that teaches you a structured way of solving questions is very important if you want to score 700+.

2. It should provide you with a clear and structured study plan. Your focus should be only on learning and not struggling with what and how to study. Look for a course that provides you with the guidance for the same.

3. It should give you detailed feedback on your performance and show you exactly where you can improve

4. It should offer doubt solving support along with dedicated mentors who guide you throughout your GMAT journey.

The best way to decide is by going through the free trial offered by most test prep companies. Another way is by going through the verified reviews on GMATClub.

Check out how Kushagra, a non native speaker, scored a 760 with a Q50 and a V42:
You may also get some success tips from Hardik's journey who scored a V44 in his first attempt:

I would recommend that you check out the free trial of GMATWhiz before taking a call. It provides an AI powered learning platform that comes with a comprehensive amount of content and an integrated study plan that is completely personalized for you. Furthermore, the platform provides real time insights on your performance, highlighting your strengths and weaknesses while providing a road map to improvement. You can do that here -> https://learn.gmatwhiz.com/?page=signup

You can also check out the verified reviews here:https://gmatclub.com/reviews/gmatwhiz-345345722?fl=menu

Hope it helped and feel free to reach out in case of any queries.

You can always write back to me here or the better way would be to connect over a call and have a discussion. You can schedule a free consultation call using the below link.

Hi! I haven’t taken GMAT yet so idk how much this will help you. I have finished the course and I’m currently taking MPrep mocks with a score of around 30V in my previous tests. The course is very good. They tell you how to answer Qs. Methods that are very easy to follow. And also they don’t have video lectures such, (only video solutions) which is good but I hope you prefer to read.

SC: it’s detailed because if you learn their course then you will easily identify errors in the gmat test SC SENTENCES without reading the whole sentence

CR: They discuss a variety of CR Question types with methods to solve them and their solutions are detailed and they mention why this answer choice is/ is not related to the Q.

RC: made my life so much easier!!! Their method is v easy to follow

Also they have the option of custom tests for practice

Hi piyush10613,

Many GMATers find the Verbal section, the Quant section or both to be challenging - so you're not alone. The Verbal section is as consistent and predictable as the Quant section is, but Verbal questions have no 'safety net' - meaning that if you make a little mistake or miss a vital piece of information, then you will convince yourself that one of the wrong answers is correct (and not realize it).

When it comes to training for the GMAT, there are a variety of different resources that you might use. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for to improve in that section, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) Your post implies that you have taken the Official GMAT. If you did, then when did you take the Exam (and how did you score, including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
2) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
3) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
5) What is your overall goal score?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
