Hi!
I took the Gmat test 5 days ago, scored 700+ and it's still pending.
I read that normally the official result is available in 2-4 days if all went smooth, but I didn't receive any email yet.
The test went smooth, except on the quant section where the proctor paused the exam during the 3rd question, and asked me "are you using a phone?", (I am not sure if proctors can make these kind of assumptions), then he asked me to show him my desk, that I did, I also asked him if he wanted to see my phone again and he said no. Clearly I was not using a phone. That really bothered me and made me very nervous as I had just started, and I felt outraged by such a inappropriate assumption. He motivated saying that it seemed I was looking off the screen...
Second time, during verbal section, without pausing the exam he just suddenly intervened in the middle of the test asking me to show him my whiteboard, I never read anywhere in the GMAT rules that they can do that, but I did show it anyway.
I am worried that this might have gotten my exam flagged. Should I worry about it? It was my first time taking the exam and I prepared for 6 months studying full time, and the proctor's behavior really bothered me and made me feel bad.

Hi. The score will take a little while to be reportable because they need to grade your essay and that requires a human reading it. Depending on the volume and availability of proctors this can take anywhere between two days to two weeks. So I would not necessarily assume that there is a problem just based on this detail.
Also, if your score and your test experience is to be reviewed, you will now receive a notification that your test is under review. That is also fairly normal because the test is actually not very carefully monitored by the proctor (except the Hawkeye in your case) and rather reviewed by AI and secondary proctors after the fact. It is a lot easier to have a I flag a few moments where you were not looking at the camera and for them to review if there’s any concern and so on and so forth. I am sure quite a few tests get flagged and almost always they get ok’ed.
PS. I’m sorry about the proctor interrupting you. That is super annoying. Did you get a score or you were looking for? I can see this throwing someone off. This isn’t very normal. This seems like you’re Proctor was taking the job a little too seriously 🥴

And yeah, that's the way I felt, the proctor was taking it too seriously, but it's fine, I understand it's his job... but assuming that I was using a phone only because I probably looked for a few seconds off the screen really sounded like I was under investigation rather than being taking a test. He could have simply asked me to show him the desk or whatever he needed without assuming. I was also surprised by him asking to show him the whiteboard out of the blue, I was concentrated on reading the question and I almost jumped off my chair when I heard his voice without even pausing the video "Hey, can you show me your whiteboard??"
Again, I am not sure if he could do that, it was clearly his personal initiative... odd..
