Fluctuation in scores . SigmaX scores Vs OG Score

Question

I have scored consistently 670 in 2 SigmaX mocks. 
SigmaX mock1 - Q48 , V33 
SigmaX mock2 - Q47 , V34.

But in Official mock, my scores were terrible. 
Q46 , V27.

I don't know what to do now. Pls guide how I can improve. Also,if anyone can share there scores in OG ,SigmaX and Actual GMAT Score will be helpful.

For Verbal, becoming familiar with how INFERENCE questions work could be helpful for RC. Memorizing idioms commonly tested on SC could help boost that part as well. Might also be worth working with a study buddy who has strong Verbal skills (you could teach them Quant in exchange). In case you haven't already, including Official questions into your prep path would be a solid choice. Fair to say they are the best questions out there in terms of representing what you'll see on an actual exam.

Third-party GMAT practice tests often produce scores that are different from those produced by official GMAT practice tests. So, the difference between your scores is not surprising.

The key thing to do now is determine what you need to learn to score higher on the official practice tests and, ultimately, on the actual GMAT.

So, you could review your practice test results to see what kinds of questions you missed and why to learn what you need to do to achieve your score goal.

How to Score High on GMAT Verbal

Hi LohiaBhavana,

There are a variety of factors that can impact your performance on a CAT/mock, including how well-rested you were when you took the CAT, the time of day that you took it, the section-order, the testing environment, etc.

In addition, the scoring algorithm on the Official GMAT is far more complicated than most people realize. Since that algorithm is proprietary, no GMAT company has an exact match for it, thus CAT scores can vary a bit based on the 'biases' involved in their respective designs. The most realistic CATs available are the 6 from GMAC (the 2 free CATs, and each of the 2 that come with Exam Pack 1 and Exam Pack 2), but retaking a CAT that you've already taken is NOT a realistic way to assess your skills - since you will likely see some 'repeat' questions that you have already faced. Unfortunately, seeing even a couple of repeats can 'throw off' the Scoring Algorithm and impact your pacing, energy levels, fatigue, etc. (meaning that they would likely all appear to be better than they actually are). Thankfully, the CATs from Kaplan and MGMAT are all 'close enough' to the real thing that they will provide you with a relatively realistic score assessment (assuming that you correctly take the CAT in a realistic fashion).

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
