I have a two-part question

1. I have one month to take GMAT and I wanted to understand if I should attempt the new version of GMAT.
2. What is the best mock series to buy for Gmat, and if I decide to take up the new version, are there mocks for the same?

Hi. It does not matter which version of the test you take.
There are ONLY official GMAT Prep Tests 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 for the GMAT Focus, so if you have just 1 month, that may be enough, but these are the only options currently. More expected soon but not sure when.
The mocks are not the same.

If you want the most variety of materials, tests, etc, take the older version.
One way to test would be to take a GMAT prep of each version and see which one gives you a higher percentile or if you already know - will you do better in SC or IR?

Hi Shivangi4025,

To start, many GMATers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores, so if you are going to limit your studies to just one month, then there will likely be a limit to how much you can improve.

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you are looking for, I'd like to know a bit more about your timelin and goals:
1) Have you done any studying for the GMAT so far?
2) Why are you planning to study for just 1 month?
3) What is your overall goal score?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Fair to say the Official Mocks best represent what you'll see on an actual exam. Focus edition mocks are also available.

I have a two-part question

1. I have one month to take GMAT and I wanted to understand if I should attempt the new version of GMAT.
2. What is the best mock series to buy for Gmat, and if I decide to take up the new version, are there mocks for the same?

1. Deciding to take the new version of the GMAT depends on:

Target Schools: Check if they accept GMAT focus.
Sentence Correction Skills: The new GMAT doesn't include Sentence Correction, so if this is a weaker area for you, the new version might be beneficial.
Quant Strengths: If you're strong in Quant, the new "Data Insights" section could play to your advantage.
Test Endurance: The new test is shorter, which might be better if you prefer a more concise test-taking experience.

2. For mock tests, the Official Mocks by GMAC are the best choice.
