Hello Experts,
I need some advice to get my GMAT focus score up to 675So I have been studying on average 3 hours a day, pretty consistently for the last 4 months. I started by reviewing and getting familiar with all the concepts aiding myself with the TTP course, and about a month and a half ago I moved to only practicing questions from the official gmat question bank. I felt pretty confident but my results in official gmat practice test weren't what I expected nor what I know I could achieve:
Test 1 (4/5/24): 645 (V:87 Q:77 DI:81)
Test 2 (19/5/24): 535 (V:84 Q:73 DI:72)
In verbal I am pretty confident as my results have been good and consistent.
Data Insight I had many doubts in both attempts as for what my results would be, it kind of surprised me my good performance on the first test but I knew that it was a posibility that I score lower. I'm not sure how to study this section other than making excersises, and I have doubts if I should focus on getting right the questions where prehaps I have strength (graph/multi source) or if I should focus on strengthening weaker areas (data sufficiency)
In Quant I was dissapointed because I have a engenieering background and because of the months of preparation I had. Eventhough in my second attempt I was able to handle time better and I got more correct questions than the first one, I made a stupid mistake not answering the final question because I ran out of time. And the same happened in the DI section. I don't know how much that penalty could have impacted both scores.
So now, I am planning my next steps for improving my score and there is where your guidance would help me a lot. I've already done most of the quant question bank's questions so perhaps I need new material. Any strategy you could recommend me would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
