Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding timelines. I was planning to get my GMAT score within April this year, but my scores were bit far from my target score (705-715). I am finally able to score in the range of 695 on my official mocks and feel ready to attempt the exam and acheive my target score, but the only available slots are August 1st week.
Since R1 application deadlines are mostly September, am I in a bad shape to apply this year? Or is it fine if I start with the application process, resume and other things in parallel while I attempt GMAT in August? I have to start from scratch - Shortlist the target schools and prepare my applications. Please share some motivation/guidance!

Around one month really is sufficient to prepare a very compelling application.
Don't start the application now, and completely focus on GMAT prep.
