I am currently considering pursuing a 1-year second MBA from a top 15 program and would appreciate any expert advice on whether these universities are welcoming to 2nd MBA applicants. If so, I would also greatly appreciate your thoughts on the suitability of my profile.

- CGPA: 8.01
- Decent PORs
Graduation:
- PGDM (Finance and Information Management) from MDI (2022)
- CGPA: 6.81
- Decent PORs
Work experience (40+ months and counting)
- Pre MBA: Software developer with Great West (14 months)
- Post MBA: Strategy Consultant with Deloitte USI (18 months), Senior Business Consultant with IGT (8 months)

A second MBA seems to be too soon / too close to your first one. The onus is on you to convince the adcom why do you need a second MBA. Also note that not every school encourages a second MBA, with some schools will reject you straight away.

Second MBA is possible these days - you just need to justify it and often it is pretty easy to do, by saying you want to move to Europe or the U.S.... But only 2-3 years out you will be on the shallower side of the work experience pool. You should definitely try - having Deloitte name is helpful and a good strength on the resume.
