During my studies, I consistently got 625s and 635s with one score of 665 (Q82, V82, DI85) a few days before the exam, making me very confident.

I have a theory that you'll typically end up scoring 20-30 points lower on your actual test than your average score on the practice tests. Not difficult to see why - nerves, pressure, etc. That you faced technical glitches would've only made it worse.

What this also means is that to have a realistic shot at that 665, you need to be scoring 695-715 on more than one official practice test (I hope you haven't exhausted all 6).

Furthermore, should I just drop studying all together and take the GMAT a few years later after undergrad?

My answer would be "no". Things will only get more difficult once you start working - you'll have less time, more distractions, you won't be in the study mode that you are in college. Plus Deferred programs are just a great idea, and you should certainly try to get into one because that'll provide you a huge security blanket for later.

So you should definitely take the GMAT again. And soon. But before doing so, you need to introspect about your prep and what changes you want to make to it. Coz if you keep doing the same things, you'll get the same results. You may want to speak to some GMAT experts. Scott had posted earlier on this thread. Speak to him. I'm happy to have a chat as well, if you need some Free advice :) Send me a PM.

Good luck!
