Thank you ScottTargetTestPrep for the article.

I face issues especially with MSR - weeding out the irrelevant information.

After I go through the entire MSR text, when I go and solve the question, I find that 50% of what I read was irrelevant. Now, Is there a strategy or a trick or a crude rule by which you can weed out the irrelevant information at the start itself ?

Maybe do you suggest reading the question first before going into the details ?
Or skimming the details just see how data is organized and go quickly to the question ?

I think the better move would be to do a quick skim, then dive into the first question.

I don't feel the questions are difficult when attempted independently. When I sit for a whole DI sectional, my accuracy drops just make sure I have time. The mistakes are generally related to calculations or not reading the question properly. But, I am surprised by this behavior, as I have stopped making the same mistakes in Verbal and Quant. I cant replicate my performance in DI.

Noting down these careless errors in a list you could look through now and again may help a bit. You could could include the question it occured on and a potential way to avoid doing the same mistake again.

How to get better on the GMAT. Note down your repeated careless errors.
