So I just finished my first Gmatclub full length mock exam to see how I have been fairing. I started my prep in september dropped it in october and picked it back up 2 weeks ago. I have 7 weeks till my planned test date and my target score is 715.
My score in the gmatclub test was as follows
655 Q83 V83 DI82
Help me analyse this and how can I make it better. I am enrolled in no practice course just use
GMATclub tests and
forum quiz to practice as well as the OG and
Manhattan Prep books. Would be really grateful to anyone who replies and advises me in any way possible.
Thankyou.
Hi. That's a solid result but not sure I can say a whole lot more about it. DI is especially good-looking score!
What's perhaps more helpful is zooming into each section and even more - each subject in quant, question type in DI and dimension in verbal and focusing on the ones that you see underpeforming. You can get that from mistake analysis or analytics here:
https://gmatclub.com/forum/analytics.php#dashboard that's where a lot of clues will come to you.
P.S. A test is sort of like a battle - a lot is going on there and a lot of things can influence the outcome. Sometimes spending too much time on one question can throw off the whole thing so tricky just looking at 3 numbers to give you valuable feedback.
PPS. Also check your
error log and mark each mistake - treat it like a gift or clue in the puzzle and see WHY did you make it? This is where I was focusing on after each test.
