From China, currently Canadian.
BSc Geochemistry, Peking University China GPA 3.5? (I can't remember exactly)
MSc Geology, University of Victoria, Canada GPA A-, one scientific paper published in American Mineralogist
Working experience from 2007-now, always in the mineral exploration industry with different companies
junior geologist-project geologist-exploration manager
(I consider myself have motivation and leadership skill as demonstrated in my working experience)
GMAT 760 Q51 V41 IR8
Language:
Mandarin (native language)
English
French (beginner)
Have take some finance and management courses.
I guess I need to work on my extra curriculars profile? Not really sure what to put in here.
Ultimate goal: gain finance knowledges and business skills and expand network in order to equip myself for becoming CEO of a mining company one day
Schools: London business school, I am also interested in top schools in US such as Harvard, MIT etc, but I am not sure whether I am shooting too high. I am 30 years old. female.
Any feedback and advice is sincerely appreciate.

Hey there,
Well you have a very interesting profile to begin with. You come from an industry that is pretty rare in MBAs which makes your profile attractive. You are female and Chinese but with international experience. For extra currics, you will need to have SOMETHING, but I'm sure with a wee bit of digging you may be able to pull something up.
To start with though, I'd ask you about the sense of your goals: They are great. But how do you see them happening? Meaning what is the short- long- and mid-term path that will lead you to do this? Where does one move from being exploration manager? What are the next steps for you? And how do you see the MBA helping you along this path?
With your grades and experience and GMAT I think you can reasonable stick to Top 10 programs, although I would recommend applying to more than just HBS and LBS.
