Hi! I was wondering if I could have a profile evaluation to see where I might stand as an applicant to HBS, Wharton, NYU, Tuck, Booth, Columbia and MIT.

1. Japanese/Female/24
2. Taking the GMAT on June 21st
3. BS in mechanical engineering from WPI (a well respected engineering school) GPA 3.2, MS also in mechanical engineering from WPI GPA 3.6. The overall trend for my undergraduate GPA is upwards. I didn't do that well my freshman year due to just being young and immature and I was also playing college basketball.
4. Work Experience - 1 year full time in the engineering rotational leadership program at GE. About 3.5 years of intern experience at GE and another fortune 500 company.
5. Extra Curricular -Varsity basketball for 2 years (I was recruited to play in college), I was nominated to be a part of an athletic leadership program by my coaches and teammates, Club Lacrosse for 2 years, was a volunteer for 5 years of the Big Brother Big Sister program, United Way volunteer for 2 years
6. Target Schools -HBS, Wharton, NYU, Tuck, Booth, Columbia and MIT

Hey, sure thing!
In general it's better if you start your own topic because it makes things clearer, but it's fine. Just wanna make sure you are getting your answer!

First of all, it's a bit hard to evaluate without a GMAT. Since you are applying to top schools, I'd say that if you could crack a 720 you will have a shot at these schools. You have a great employer and an interesting job, and there aren't thaaaaaat many Japanese candidates, and even fewer female ones, so it makes you preeeetty unique.

I have to say though, that I am missing a whole bunch of specific information to give you a more precise evaluation, and for that I'd suggest you fill out our form (which asks all the right questions) for a free consultation:
