I'd like to get your insight regarding my profile and thanks in advance for your time.
Basic background:
1. Aged 33 years, Indian male, married with 1 kid.
2. Masters of Computer Science (in 2003) with 70%
3. Working in IT as Technical Lead with around 10 years of experience
4. Have International exposure working in different countries like US, France for some time.
5. Have been working in Finance Domain, in an IB, from around last 4 years.
I would like to pursue MSc Finance in UK. Am mostly targeting for LSE, Imperial, Warwick.
What I would like to know:
1. Am I eligible for M.Sc Finance? Please suggest me whether that suits my profile or not.
2. Apart from GMAT Score (Am preparing for it now), is there any way that I can improve my profile for more suitability.
3. Considering my age and profile, what are the other colleges in UK, which I can give it a shot.

Hey Ravi,
Well you are eligible for an MSC in finance, for sure. You are just a bit on the old side. I mean it's a regular Masters program so lots of the folks will be 21-24 years old, and at a decade more, then are going to think twice before accepting you. Your age doesn't make it impossible, but it does make it harder. You can also apply to MBA program likely to make the same shift you are looking at, and there in Europe, the average age will be about 29-30, so you may fare better actually in MBA programs. But you could always apply to a mix of programs that would give you the best shot. Right now if you are thinking about applying this year (which you should, because we aint getting any younger!), I think concentrating on the GMAT and getting the best score you can there will be the most important thing. You would want to try and get that done by beginning of July if it's possible.
For colleges, first keep on looking around, and it's better to figure that out once you have your real GMAT score.
