Hello there!
Sooo you have a VERY interesting profile there. We see very very few design folks applying for MBAs. Which is a great thing (but also has its little hook… more on that soon).
So, let's be honest, a 700 does make things harder for HBS but not impossible. They just have to want you to go there, and since you are female, from a unique industry and summa cum laude, you might have a shot.
The first thing that you need to take care of though is explain why you need an MBA - Is it to capitalize on your patent? Do you have another business idea? It's important because from the design world, as I mentioned above, we don't see too many MBAs. And for a pretty good reason, probably - that talent and contacts are more important for this industry usually than what an MBA might provide.
So the first and foremost thing for you to succeed is to work on that STORY - Why MBA and why now. And if it is a convincing one, and backed up by your past experience, your profile can be awesome.
You will also have to explain abandoning your Masters 90% of the way through. It also doesn't sound too great from here. Although you may have a good reason.
Strategically speaking I see two options for you:
1. Top school or bust - you apply ONLY to top schools this year, knowing that it is risky, and if you do not get in your backup plan is to retake the GMAT, get thirty points higher and try again next year.
2. Strategized school list - you make a bit of a compromise and spread the risk around by widening your scope to top 20/25 schools, and have a better guarantee at getting in this year, but possibly to a slightly lower ranked school.
Makes sense?

Wow. First of all, thank you. I totally need a lot of work.
1. For master program, i quit because it was the same school, same professor, same everything. I didn't learn anything new. When i applied to the master program, the primary goal is to work with my professor, who is the founder of that project which i mentioned on the extracurricular activity. At the midst of the first year, i came to NYC for the first time of my life, because i had to receive the award and show my work at the exhibition. It opened my eye, and i knew that i had to come here, so here i am. It was a very risky decision, knowing that if i cannot get a full time job here, then i had to go back to korea, without an option to attend to the school again. The school policy did not allow me to absent on the school more than a year. Is it a still weakness? I thought it is a strength that i did not choose a safe choice. I had no idea others would respond a different way, so it is very good to know that you raised up this issue.
2. I want to start a company(non profit) that can produce and launch an innovative product or a service that can help people's lives better or solve the issues of the society, especially supporting people who are not privileged and need help. I worked on my professor's project based on his business model but i want to build my own. I learned my design skill sets at the one of the best firm in the city. I have experiences on launching a product, designing store and managing brand identity. I can build electronic prototypes and i can understand technology. What i am lack of is how to manage operation(practical knowledge). Also i need to practice my leadership skill sets in school and i need to meet people who will make a change with me, together.
I hope that answers your question. Does my case sounds that bad? At this point i am not sure i should apply to HBS. I want it so badly, but i am also disappointed about my limitation..
Oh, one last thing. What do you think of getting two recommendations both from my current work? Is it a red flag as well? My boss thinks so.
