I was hoping someone here could evaluate my profile and tell me whether I have any shot at applying to the B schools I'm interested in, namely :
1. Mannheim Business School
2. Rotterdam School of Management.
I am a 24 year old India male, with a gmat score of 670 only. And that is my biggest worry.
I have 2 and a half years work experience in the manufacturing industry now, which would be 3 years by the time I join a B school (fall 2015).
Also, I'm currently involved in my family business. We manufacture office furniture(work stations, false ceilings, partition systems etc). So I would like to know whether this is an advantage or not.
My grades are very consistent with a 7.69 cgpa in B.Tech Mechanical Engineering from SRM university.
An avid sports enthusiast with over 10 years of competition experience (school team, college team etc). Nothing too fancy.
Hoping for some replies and advice.

Hello George,
Well I think that for both Rotterdam and Mannheim a 670 is actually not that bad! So I think you can go for those schools. Although I would probably also suggest that you add 2-4 more schools to your list. Two schools is quite little, and you might not get on just on a circumstantial basis. So to build a good strategy I'd advise you to add some more schools to your list.

I have included a few other B schools, but didn't include them in the mail because Rotterdam and Mannheim are my first preferences. The other B schools I'm targeting are WHU and EBS (both in Germany). I'm not too sure about the quality of the MBA at these two B schools in comparison with Mannheim and Rotterdam, hence, they're my second choices.
Would you be able to provide me some information on these two B schools? Also, could suggest me some more B schools in Europe with a similar profile? My target location would be central to western Europe and Scandinavia.
I would like to pursue an MBA degree that concentrates on Marketing and Business Strategy Development. My profile is, as mentioned in the previous mail, 3 years worke ex with a GMAT score of 670. Please let me know if you would like any more information.
