Hi,

Thanks for the comment. I'm only interested in deferral programs (HBS/Stanford) and I didn't realize not all business schools allow deferred admissions. Would I be at a disadvantage by applying R3 in order to raise grades a tad? I don't think I can raise them over a 3.0 given the amount of credits already taken, but I'm hoping a positive trajectory my senior year will help my chances. So, the GPA won't disqualify me?

Hey, well I wouldn't recommend waiting till R3 anyhow. But do what you can in the meanwhile. Your grades won't "disqualify" you, but they will make things harder, of course. But, if you have a good reason and are able to articulate this clearly in your application, whilst showing all of your other good sides, this can also be dealt with.

Good luck!
And let me know if I can help in any other way!

Best,
Jon
