Thanks for your great reply ! Definitely people like you are the ones who keep students like me motivated to do the best ! :) Kudos !

I am already 32 years old ( 22 Bachelor's + 4 Work ex in India + 2 Master's in Engg from USA + 3 Work ex after ME = 32)

As I have family commitments and need time to take care of them. Surely I can go for MBA around 35. Would that make a difference ?

Yep - I am gonna try hard to get GMAT above 720 and will do voluntary work as well to add to my profile.

It feels good talking to you ! Thanks a lot !

Oh 32 already! You got some experience under that belt. :)

So first of all the GMAT is still key. With a 750, you can for sure give it a shot. Now I won't lie to you, it may be tough for Top10 programs for an older candidate such as yourself, but if your GMAT is high enough you just take your shot and see what happens. But do make it earlier than later. Esp. for US full-time MBAs things will only get tougher with each passing year.

I'd also suggest you have a good look at at least one-year and European/Asian MBA programs, because their class age tends to be on average 4-5 years higher, and you may find that you fit in better too. If you are considering alternative types of programs, then EMBAs or (less) PT MBAs might be an option that you can consider as well.

I hope this helps,
Jon
