Wow, that's great news! Do you really think I'll 'sail' into those 3 Texas schools? I mean, they all have acceptance rates in the 20-35% range.

The T10 are tempting to me because of the name they carry, but I'm not sure the extra cost will justify going there. If I were planning on finance and consulting work, sure -- but for healthcare or nonprofit work? I also plan to stay in Texas, and I wonder if going in state wouldn't be better for recruiting and job prospects.

Thanks for your advice and encouragement!

Well, don't worry about that for now. Also, there are interesting possibilities for non-profit folks (i.e. in Yale, if you graduate and work in non-profit and have a salary under a certain level, there's tuition forgiveness). In any case, right now, just do awesome stuff in non-profit. Try to make as many contacts, take on as much leadership, launch as many initiatives and fund-raisers as you can (at work or independently). And get that 730+. and you will be golden.

:)

Oh yeah, and hire yourself an awesome consultant! ;)
