Hi, I am a new member of GMAT Club and before thinking and working towards my goal, I would request you to please evaluate my profile:
- Done B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Kurukshetra university with 73%.
- Expecting 700 score in GMAT (based on practice tests given)
- Working for HCL Technologies and would complete my two years there in June, 2017 before joining the September session in any of the colleges.
- Participated in various colleges events and helped in managing college fests.
- Also doing volunteer work for a reputed NGO 'CRY' in India.
- Have provided donations to PETA as well.
I want to apply for MIM course in HEC, Essec, LBS, Rotterdam School of Management, University of St. Gallen.
I request you to please evaluate my profile and provide any guidance.

Hey there,
Well without a REAL actual GMAT it's hard to say, but with your 700 the schools you are aiming out, other than LBS should be within range.
My question to you: Why MiM? Why not work another 1-2 years and apply to a regular full-time MBA?

After working for an year in an IT technical job, I feel that I am more inclined towards Management field of work and I am just wasting my time working in this area. Using MIM, I want to make a strong profile in this Management field and then after working for 2-3 years with MIM degree, I want to apply for an Ivy league college for MBA (hopefully Harvard).
But this could be my naïve thinking. I would be really thankful if you provide me some guidance about what should I do. Isn't MIM a good course to follow? And yes, what would be a good GMAT score to better my chances of getting in HEC or LBS.
