Hello Jon,

Appreciate your response to my post.

That was a great input about my profile and I understand the key aspects you are referring to. When you said - "work extra hard to make yourself STAND OUT", could you state examples that can explain it better? What I have in my vicinity is a GMAT retake (scoring as high as 760 may be). I was able to achieve an early promotion to lead a team of 20 within 3 years time, 9 years as a volunteer leader quickly moving up from local roles to leading teams globally. Was an invited participant in board strategy meetings (area of discussion: Engineering & Technolog).

In terms of the schools - as you rightly said the job scenario is specific to the school I join and I am open to it.

Could you shed some light on the areas you think I can look at (pertaining to uniqueness) to be able to achieve entry into my dream schools - World's top 15.

Thanks!

Hey there,
I don't have specific examples (although you are free to write us on the website and we'll send you over our book of essays which has some real examples. But basically, you gotta find your story, the thing that will make your application attractive and memorable. and there's no "silver bullet" solution I can give you either. It takes digging and work and creativity and good writing and passion... :)

As for the GMAT, as an Indian applicant, yes, you can work on improving it. I highly suggest you read this which should give you some insight on to whether or not it's worth your time to retake (remember you also have other things to do, and the essays have been released. And I think that might be more important for you now): https://admissionado.com/mba/to-retake-o ... n=mba_blog

I hope this helps!
Best,
JF
