I think I screwed my Chicago Booth essay (the application sent already), how bad do you think it can be?
I felt pretty solid with my presentation but after reading some more analysis, I realized I mainly didn't provide enough "why booth" reasons. the thing about a presentation the way i saw it was keeping things simple. I treated the essay more as of Stanford's "what matter most to you" and wrote general things about myself. The main reason is that I read a really bad analysis saying "anything works" just bring your beliefs etc to the essay/presentation not focusing enough on where exactly to take it. Anyway, now I wonder whether I'm doomed.
I would say apart of the essay my application is solid everywhere else. What do you think? Still got a chance?
Or thinking about it in a general point of view: how important is the essay for business school ?
