Hello Guys!
I am Niraj from India.
I am a Mechanical Engineer (2008) from University of Pune with 70%.
I joined Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (Aug 2009 to Feb 2012) after clearing GATE with 96.18 percentile. Here, I worked as a Research Fellow for Reactor Safety Division. I specifically researched on Residual Stresses in multi-pass welding in Austenitic Stainless Steel Girth Welds in secondary heat loop of Indian PHWR reactors. I also presented my research through 3 papers in 2 international conferences. However, I realised I have more interest in communicating my work to others than pure research.
Then I switched to a French MNC as a Sales Engineer (Feb 2012 to Aug 2013). The company was engaged in creating Finite Element Analysis based software. Initially, for 6 months I struggled, however picked up well later. I was then a Consultant (Sept 2013 to Sept 2014) with an Indian company in similar software products. Here, I had wonderful stint.
Both these stints gave me confidence to start my own venture related to communication. I and my wife started a small firm in Education space in Sep 2014. Here I work mainly on developing market for the firm as well as designing a curriculum in Communication Skills for entry level graduates. The firm saw a break-even within 14 months and the turnover in third year has grown by 400% compared to first year. In Sep 2016, I co-founded prepify.in with my friend which is in EdTech.
All these experiences have highlighted my Analytical abilities, Communication Skills, Project Handling abilities, Marketing Skills, People Management, Planning and Execution. However, I feel that these assets when integrated with formal courses in MBA curriculum can help to create a career in General Consulting.
Total Experience: 8 years
GRE: 319 (I was comfortable with GRE than GMAT) (Should I repeat it?)
Aim: INSEAD, IMD, HEC Paris

Hey there,
Good to hear from you good sir!
Well the short of it is that you have overall a good profile, but a GRE that would be the equivalent of a 610 on your GMAT. Which is very low for the schools mentioned above, and especially for an Indian candidate. I would strongly recommend you consider a retake.
