I am Armenian(non-EU) and have an undergrad from American University of Armenia BA in Business Administration (GPA 3.9, Best Thesis award). I have some local internships (e.g. Central Bank of Armenia) and one year experience in a no-name local consulting firm. I have also founded my own business (unrelated with finance). I have received an offer from LSE MSF and Imperial MSF. After talking to some alums I am under the impression that finding a job in the UK as a non-EU is nearly impossible. My goal is to basically break into the finance industry ( I don't care much about the location). I am looking at three options now. First, to enroll at LSE and do my best to stay in the UK ( I consider my chances highly unlikely). Second, defer my offer for one year -> get some relevant experience (e.g. Big 4) and then pursue LSE with better chances of finding a job. Third, to reject my offer -> get relevant experience for one year and apply to schools in the US that offer STEM degrees. I will very much appreciate if you gave me some advice.

If you got into LSE this year you should have what it takes to get into an equal or possibly higher ranked school next year. Taking a year to gain some more relevant work experience -- and perhaps to also increase your GMAT (a higher score is always better!) -- will put you in a good position next year to apply to US schools. You may want to even consider applying for a US MBA, although if you decide to go that route you'll have a better chance if you get two more years of work experience under your belt. It will still position you well for a finance role, and you can likely enter at a more senior level following the degree.
