I am from India and I have recently scored 780 in GMAT. I hold the CFA and the FRM charter and have passed all the papers of Actuarial Science from IFOA. I hold a Bachelor's in Accounting from a non-target university with a dismal GPA (2.7) and a two part time masters in Accounting & Finance (GPA 2.3) and Economics (GPA 3.6), which I completed while working full time. All of my degrees and qualifications are out of sheer interest in the subject.
I have around two and a half years of experience on the sell side (A Boutique management consulting firm and the financial advisory division of one of the big four accounting firms) and almost two years of experience in the Asset management in one of India's most influential Asset Management Company.
My low undergraduate GPA could be attributed to the fact that my college did not have a mandatory attendance policy and I spent most of my time and money, backpacking across the country. When not travelling, I used to volunteer as an English teacher at a local orphanage. While my post graduate GPA suffered as the demanding nature of my jobs and the studies for CFA and FRM took up a major chunk of my time.
I would like to study management at H/S/W and work in a PE/VC fund post graduation.
What are chance of getting into H/S/W? Would my low undergraduate GPA hamper my chances?
