Hi Admissionado,
Indian Female, turning 27 soon. Approximately 4.7 years work ex, high growing startup, multiple promotions, managing 10+ engineers.
Engineering and product manager
GMAT - 700
GPA - 7.3/10
School rank in the country - between 20-30
Extracurricular - moderate
Social contribution - moderate
International Exposure - Remotely, no travel(except for leisure)
Recommenders - My reporting manager SVP Tech (non MBA) and business VP (ISB MBA)
I have applied to Ross, Anderson, and Booth all R2 but unfortunately have been rejected at Booth and have not heard back from the other two.
Should I apply to Mccombs and Oxford for r3? I was wondering if my app to r3 will have a chance at all. I am trying to strengthen my essays here as compared to what I submitted for Ross and Anderson.

Based on the info that you have provided, it appears that your GMAT and years of experience are in line with the average at McCombs and Oxford. That being said, if you can wait a year to apply that would be my recommendation. Round 3 is extremely competitive to be accepted any school, since most of the class is already full. Both of these schools have small classes, so that makes it even more difficult, and for Oxford you will be applying in Round 4. Most of the class is filled by this point in the process, and unless your credentials are stellar and you have a good reason why you didn't apply earlier, it's hard to convince the adcom to give you a chance. Given that your stats are on par with the average and you're not coming from a top university in India, I think it would be very difficult unless you have extraordinary accomplishments on the work front.
As for HEC January intake, you would be submitting your application earlier in the process, hence optimizing your chances. Without knowing more details about your leadership and work accomplishments, it's hard for me to assess what your odds would be.
