Hi Experts,
Could you please help evaluate my profile? I am looking to apply for MBA programs in 2022, Spring or Fall and would like to know which programs would be realistic for me to aim for.
Demographic: 37 M, Indian
Education: B. Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from NIT – 6.7/10
GMAT: 710 and GRE: 330 and IELTS 7.5
Work experience and progression:
- ~ 13 Years of experience, in Oil & Gas Sector (Govt owned).
Other than this, I also have a 2 month of in tool Room in Helicopter Division in HAL, India
Extra-curricular:
- I have a 6-months internship working with an NGO.
-Presented Paper at several reputed institutions
- Students’ Representative at ISTE student’s Chapter
-Won Best IDEA Award at Place of Work
My post-MBA goal – I have a stronger appetite to create and Lead sustainable Transport and Energy Models, the same domain, on which people like Elon Musk and Richard bronsan vet onto.
I have a few questions I am hoping you can help answer:
1. Which best MBA programs should I aim for?
2. Considering longer duration away from Academics and Age Factor though, which B-Schools and which programs (E-Mba etc) should I vouch for ?
2. What parts of my profile should I improve to get to the reach/dream schools?

Have you thought about schools like Duke (Fuqua), Texas (McCombs), Cornell (Johnson), Michigan (Ross) and Berkeley (Haas)? Those are all in places and have programs that are focused on your career goals.
2. Considering longer duration away from Academics and Age Factor though, which B-Schools and which programs (E-Mba etc) should I vouch for ?
A: Executive MBA is the way to go. The abovementioned programs all offer EMBA programs that are reputable and feel like a good fit for your background.
2. What parts of my profile should I improve to get to the reach/dream schools?
A: I would like to see a couple of more recent extracurricular activities. I could be wrong, but the ones you have listed seem dated. Your GRE is better than your GMAT, so you should be set there.

Admissionado - Thanks a lot, 1st of all.
The Schools listed by you, except McCombs & Cornell, all were on my Cards. Don't know how well my profile is suited for Out of India B-Schools, but do shed some Light on applying to Indian B-Schools, if in case, i need to, with some additions to Extra-Curriculars.
