MD19934875:
Thanks for reaching out and laying out your background as well as strengths and weaknesses.
How does your GPA compare to the one on the U.S. 4.0 school? A 3.3 would be around a B+ and, while not terrible, is not stellar for many of the top MBA programs. Having this context would go a long way in evaluating your profile.
I do agree that the Quant side of your GMAT is important, especially since you're coming from a somewhat technical background. The expectation is that your quant skills will be solid. You don't want any such doubt hovering over your application.
I noticed you didn't mention any extracurricular/community activities. Do you have any you can tout? That will also help take pressure off of your GPA/GMAT as that is another key component.
In general, I think you'll have a shot at several of these programs. Fuqua and NYU Stern seem within reach while LBS and Kellogg might be significantly harder given the little room for error when it comes to the points mentioned above.
Please reach out to us directly if you'd like to discuss live on a call with one of our consultants. They can do a more proper assessment of your background and advise you on services that can help you shape up your applications for these top programs.
