About Me:
Indian Male
Age - 26
Currently working with Hilton Hotels as a Cluster Revenue Manager (Business Strategy) for 7 Hotels in India
5 year work experience - 4 Promotions & 1 company all along.
GMAT
GMAT 2 - 680(Q47,V37, IR-7)
GMAT 1 - 680 (Q48, V35, IR-2)
Aim:
Connect my current hotel business strategy role with post MBA goal of strategy consulting or brand management.
(I am unsure how do I connect strategy consultancy to my current role?)
Target Schools ( I am also unsure how do I shortlist my B-schools)-:
• NYU Stern
• INSEAD
• LBS
• Oxford
• Rotman
• NYU Stern,
• HEC Paris
Education summary
Hotel Management- IHM Pusa, New Delhi (India's Top hotel management college)

Seeking overall profile evaluation, apt colleges. Should I retake GMAT and aim to cross atleast 700?
Should I seek to apply in R2, or Score 720 by end of this year - improve other areas of my profile and apply next year for the batch of 2025?(If i start my MBA in 2023, that would mean 7 years work exp). What should be my aim for any scholarship?

A: The strength of your profile is your work experience because you have clearly succeeded and bring an interesting industry (hotel) perspective to an MBA class. That's not typically common. Your weaknesses are clearly in your GMAT score (for these schools on your list) and your lack of extracurricular/volunteer activities.
Should I retake GMAT and aim to cross at least 700?
A: Absolutely. For your demographic, you really need a 730+ to clear the threshold but we'll take a 700+.
Should I seek to apply in R2, or Score 720 by end of this year - improve other areas of my profile and apply next year for the batch of 2025?(If i start my MBA in 2023, that would mean 7 years work exp).
A: It's not a huge deal either way. You can afford to wait one more year. There are two issues: retaking the GMAT and buffing up your profile with volunteer/extracurricular activities. The first is a priority and can be done in time to make R2 deadlines. The second is much harder to do in this period of time. You're better off waiting until next year if you have a firm plan on how to build out these two weak components in your profile.
What should be my aim for any scholarship?
I am not sure I understand this question. You're a good but not stellar candidate for the schools. I don't know how much, if any, scholarship money you would receive. You first have to worry about getting in.
