Hello guys!
I am looking for some tips to enhance my profile for the upcoming admission process this year. I recently got done with my final semester exams and I am awaiting my results for the same. So, technically I haven't graduated yet. I have already given my GMAT and got a score of 620 (Q45, V31). I'm aware that this isn't a great score but I was planning to go this year, so I gave the test on 30th of March and applied for the final round of admissions across various B-Schools offering MiM. The list of schools I applied to were HEC Paris, Bocconi, UCD and EDHEC. Bocconi and UCD did not have any seats left in the 5th round and they sent me a mail regarding the same. I did not get into HEC, as was expected. I got an admit into EDHEC for the GETT and MiM program. A scholarship was offered as well. But in the end I realized that I could score better in my GMAT and have a shot at a better scholarship offer in the coming admission timeline for 2023. Hence, I got my admission deferred to 2023.
Even though I am from an Engineering Background, I would love to know any other courses that might help me get into the field of management and business and to learn more about it. I am looking for a profile evaluation as I am looking to apply for the MiM admissions for 2023. It would be greatly appreciated if you let me know the GMAT Score that I should target and the areas of my profile I should start working on to get a solid chance of getting into a good program with a good scholarship.

Overall, you have a great profile. Some of your extracurricular activities should really be categorized as "hobbies." The difference between an EC and a pastime in this process is that the former is more focused on achievements/results while the latter is something you do purely for fun. There can be overlap, of course, but MiM/graduate schools value folks who demonstrate leadership and an ability to improve their community.
As for the GMAT, since you are starting with a 620, I would try to get as close to 700 as possible. MiM programs are not nearly as competitive as MBA programs, but they still expect around the same scores. What is achievable for you? Do you feel that putting in the time to study for the GMAT could get you anywhere between 50 to 80 points? That would make a big difference.
Lastly, have you considered the GRE instead? That exam might be better for you as an alternative.
