Your GRE score is slightly below average. Cornell Johnson might be willing to give you a look given the strength of your profile otherwise. If you are applying for the 2023-2024 season, I would recommend giving it one more shot since you would have the time. I would hate for a few points to be the difference between admission and rejection.

A recommendation from a Cornell Johnson grad could help if you worked with him or her. If it's just a supplementary recommendation from a friend (and assuming he or she isn't heavily influential with the school), it won't really be too valuable unless you find yourself on a waitlist.
