These are some very common starter questions. Before you even think of applying, I strongly suggest you do a lot of research to get the answers to these questions.

Start with each school's admissions website. Besides high level information many offer virtual tours and information sessions (thanks to Covid-19), which you should take advantage of since you are not local. Then, talk to students and alumni at top programs to gather more information specific to your interests.

You will find that each school has its own flair and set of advantages that appeal to different people.

Lastly, if you are serious about these top programs (and have the budget), consider hiring an admissions consultant. While reapplication is an option, you want to give yourself the best possible shot at admission the first go-around. Many consultancies, including us, offer free consultations. It's a great way to learn more!
