I would love to get an outside opinion of my profile for MBA.
My abbreviated profile:
Age: 32, Nationality: Indian (male).
Educational Qualifications:
1. PhD in Mechanical Engineering at NTU, Singapore - CGPA of 4
2. MSc in Mechanical Engineering at NTU, Singapore - CGPA of 4 - obtained "Certificate of Excellence" award for my academic performance.
3. BTech in Mechanical Engineering at IIIT, Design & Manufacturing, Kancheepuram, Chennai - CGPA 8.2/10
GRE - 326 Q166, V160.
Work Experience:
Have worked in Engineering R&D sector for 4 years (not in the same company, 4 years in 3 different companies), leading and supervising numerous research projects.
Have invented 3 provisional patents (applications in Singapore in-progress) with my PhD supervisor; published 5 research articles in scientific journals.
MBA Motivation:
To obtain the necessary managerial skills to pair them with my technical skills to get into top management in companies prioritizing R&D innovation mainly in STEM sector.
Extracurriculars:
Involved in a lot of sports - Football, Tennis and Chess predominantly.
Member of the NTU String Orchestra club, playing Violin.
Target schools: INSEAD, LBS, IMD, FUQUA, STERN.
I know my GRE is not great especially for these schools and probably my age is on the higher end of the spectrum as well. Do I have a realistic shot at these schools with this GRE? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
