Education:
- BA Economics from a top Libaral Arts University
- GPA: 3.3/4
- Accomplished Varsity Athlete - team won a national championship while I was a senior
Testing:
Current GMAT: 680 (Q44 V39)
Still aiming for a higher score as I am confident I can get it (score higher on practice tests), just working through some test day anxieties.
Also, considering taking EA because top 2 schools accept.
Work Experience (Total 5 years):
- 4 years Technology consulting at IBM Consulting - Promoted in a year (2018-2023)
- 1 year program management with IBM Software - Promoted (2023 - )
--- 2 Total Promotions
- track record of giving back via coaching peers
- Won leadership awards
Extracurricular Activities:
- Co-founder of a company building a platform that aims to create new ways for people to engage in their hobbies as well as building communities through sports and games.
- Personal Coaching
Post MBA Goals
- Short Term: Transition into an Investment Banking Associate role (ideally focused in the tech industry where i have background)
- Long Term: Shift in to growth equity / venture capital and work to identify, invest in, and support mission driven companies adding real value to society.
Target Schools (tiers are in terms of my personal ranking):
Top 2 - NYU, Columbia
Tier 2 - HBS, Berkeley
Tier 3 - Kellogg, Ross, UCLA

Thanks for sharing. Profile is overall very appealing for many reasons, especially if you can add 20-30 points at least to your score.
NYU feels very appropriate. Same for UCLA and Ross. Berkeley is a slight reach but worth an application. HBS and Columbia are going to be major stretch schools. It's your call if you want to spend the time on either or both applications. Kellogg is in between Berkeley and HBS/Columbia.
You'll probably have time for 5 schools for R2, so get started! Let us know if we can assist in any way.
