Hi there,
Thanks for posting. Well, I don't have too much to go from here, but it sounds like you have a solid background in technical and quantitative skills, but could perhaps be limited to that skillset? Do you have much leadership experience? At least the project management could be another facet of your background to discuss. I don't know much about your interests or activities or involvements. Your Masters GPA is great, which is good since the undergrad GPA is low. Your experience working in the US/NYC is a small plus. However you are part of a large pool of applicants-- Indian IT/engineering professionals, and it can be a challenge to stand out from that group, so start brainstorming about what makes YOU unique!! And how you can be remembered in the application process.
NYU's part time program would likely be a stretch given your lower-than-their-average GMAT, and currently the lack of anything to help you stand out. Maybe look more at programs which have an average score closer to your current score, unless you are planning to re-take, such as McCombs (still a top rated part-time program); Ross; Fisher; Goizeuta; Marshall; maybe even Tepper.
Let us know if you have further q's and good luck!
