Requesting for a profile evaluation.
Indian, Male, 31 Years
GMAT: 740
Graduation: IIT Bombay (CGPI: 6.9/10) - Mechanical Engineering (All India Rank - 570)
Work Ex: 7 years in front end Investment Banking in India - M&A / Fund Raises; Worked with diverse global clients; CXO level relationships; Worked on $1bn+ M&A deals. Set up the India office of Canadian Bulge Bracket - BMO Capital Markets along with ex-Managing Director (MD) of CitiBank and worked for BMO for ~5 years. One of the rare few undergraduates who are promoted from an Analyst to an Associate at BMO.
Currently setting up a finance venture with the same MD to cater to the housing needs of the poor in India.

Hello! So your GMAT is great and your professional experience seems really strong. I actually worry that you may be too strong there and I'm not sure I see clear reasons for why you need an MBA at this point in your career. How are you planning to use the MBA to help with the venture you're starting? That will be an important question for you to answer in your applications! You already have 7 years experience so that's above the average for most of the schools you list. I'd say you should take a look at the stats for each program and find ones that tend to attract a wider age range of students. For instance, UCLA, Tuck, Ross and Duke, plus the European schools, strike me as schools where they tend to take more over 30 students and your chances might be a bit better there. You also might want to consider accelerated programs that are targeted to individuals who don't need an internship to make a career transition like Columbia's J-Term option, or the 1-year MBAs at Kellogg and Cornell. Many European schools also offer an accelerated option. Hope this helps! Keep us posted if you have additional questions.
