Undergrad GPA: 3.8 from a non-top Indian college
Postgrad: with merit from a top UK school (think LSE, IC, UCL)
Wore Experience: 2 years as management trainee at an international supermajor oil & gas company (think Shell, ExxonMobil, BP) up to now ([b]three years upon matriculation), focusing on strategic planning. Good performance and a promotion.
Extra-curriculum: President of Students' society in College, core member of local alumni association
Target Schools:
1. HBS
2. CBS
3. MIT
4. Kellogg
5. Yale
6. Tuck
Pls kindly let me know whether my targets are realistic. Frankly I'm a bit concerned about my short work experience. How much impact does it have?

First off, excellent GMAT - congrats there! Your GPA seems good too, though not from a top top school. Your extracurriculars seem to be mostly college focused, so that could be a slightly weak area. There is limited info about your work experience, and post MBA goals too (those matter a lot as part of your story!), but working for an international company is great, plus the promotion, and exposure to strat planning. Hopefully you've had some good leadership experience - maybe even leading a project on your own? That would be great, especially since I share your concern about the short work experience. It's not too short to not apply, but you will need to make sure you demonstrate leadership potential, maturity, and clear reasons for why you need an MBA. You've got a strong profile so I think you're fine to be targeting some top 10 schools...but your list is not a very diverse one. Harvard will be really tough so just know that it's a bigger risk if you do apply there. So perhaps add one more that will give you a safer option. Are you interested in oil & gas still? If so then UT McCombs might be a good safety option.
