Dear mbaMission Team,
If anyone please evaluate my profile so that i can measure myself what are my chances for MBA.
Here is a summary about my background:
Age: 23
10th: 70.5%
12th: 70.8%
GMAT: Not taken yet (Date = 7th January 2016) - Expected to get 650 - 700
Bachelor's (Electrical Engineering) GPA: 3.03
Work experience: 13 months as a Data Center Officer @ China Mobile Pakistan
I am seriously aiming to apply to Full Time 2 years MBA in Carey School of Business (Arizona State University), Tippie School of Management (University of IOWA) & Hough School of Business (University of Florida).
I will be an international student from Pakistan. Any advice that should i go for MBA and what chances do i have?

Hi there!
Well, first off...whether you should go for the MBA depends on what your long-term career goals are. You might want to check out some of our resources on post-MBA careers like these career primers: https://www.mbacareercoaches.com/resources/. Make sure you have a clear goal story that you can write about in your essays, and that you have clear reasons for why you want your MBA now.;
As far as chances...of course it's really hard to predict because it depends on a number of different factors. I think your work experience (albeit short) sounds quite interesting, and your experience working in Pakistan for a Chinese-owned company should lend an interesting perspective in the classroom. Hopefully in your 13 months you've had a chance to demonstrate your leadership and had some impact, because that will be important to show. Your GPA is on the low end, but hopefully you can get a strong GMAT to demonstrate your academic abilities. For the schools you mention, the average is in the 670-680 range so aim there, or just a bit higher because of the GPA.

Thank you so much for your feedback. mbaMissionKate Let me elaborate some of my background and post-MBA goals. My background is from a business family, my father was a businessman here in Pakistan and i used to help him during my studies even. Although after his death, responsibility was on my shoulders and i couldn't hold it longer than 2.5 years and it fell. It was a big failure but i learned hell lot different things from this. After business failure, i continued my studies and after completing my engineering i am now working in a Chinese company China Mobile. If i talk about my post-MBA goals, first i want to do my MBA in Entrepreneurship or International Business, (well honestly i don't know much that which university has the best Entrepreneurship) because i want to start my own business.
After taking my GMAT, i'll have at least 3 weeks to apply to all the universities i mentioned earlier, So i'll prepare my essays in that time.
