I am currently a pre-final year engineering student in India and I plan to apply to the MiM programs.
GPA:7.9/10
GMAT:670(Q49,V31,IR6), plan to retake it .
My profile as it is today:
Internships:
1)At a boutique investment bank
2)WWF-India
3)Standard & Poor's
4)Upcoming Summer Intern at Standard Chartered Bank
Extracurricular and Volunteering Activities
1)President of the investment club
2)Sponsorship co-ordinator for various events in college
3)Member of the Youth Red Cross,Music Club and Entrepreneurship Development Cell
4)Founding member and under secretary general of the Model United Nations in College
5)I work for and co-ordinate activities with a cancer foundation that provides nutrition and music therapy to students and also help the founders of the foundation in strategy
Hobbies
1.Virtual Stock Trading
2.Aviation and flight travel
3.Watching and reviewing sports
Post MiM goals would be to work in finance/consulting.
I am targeting the MMS program at Fuqua,the Master of Management Program at Ross and Mendoza,MiM programs at IE,LBS,LSE,HEC,Imperial College,ESADE as well as the YTP program at IESE School and the Berkley Scholarship at Stern depending on how the GMAT goes.
I would really appreciate it if you could give me an assessment for the above colleges based on my profile. I had a bad test day on the GMAT where I thought my quant went worse than my verbal and actually thought my verbal went smoothly.Also.should I take the GMAT again or work on the applications? I have time till August end to retake my GMAT if need be

Thanks for your post. It sounds like your academics are solid, and you've demonstrated some good involvement and commitment through your extra-curricular activities. You've done what you can in terms of lining up respectable internships, and I also appreciate your international perspective. I think as you know your main weakness is your current GMAT score. I do think it's worth giving it another shot, with some additional prep, perhaps just 2-4 weeks, and see what you can do ! Then focus on your personal statements/applications after that. With a higher GMAT I think you'd be considered at many of those programs. Just determine how many you actually want to apply to and go from there.
