Please help me review my application. I don't know if I am competitive enough for USC or UCLA B-Schools
I graduated from UCLA with a double major in Psychobiology and Economics. I didn't have a spectacular GPA just a 3.0. However, the GPA calculated for just my economics major was much higher probably 3.3-3.4 but what lowered my overall GPA was all of the science. Also, because I was double majoring, I had a full load of classes per quarter. I graduated with over 200 units.
Extracurriculars: I volunteered and held positions in many clubs during my time in college. I was also in an internship for media marketing competition at my school and I placed first in my team and individually. I have alot of hours for community service.
Job: 2 years as a substitute teacher and tutor
Resume: I have completed a few drafts already.
Essay: I have a few rough drafts.
I was supposed to go to medical school but I decided last minute to switch to business. I guess I have always wanted to go to business and that I was blinded by my family's decisions for me.
Overall: 23 year old female
-School: UCLA
-GPA: 3.0 overall
-Job: Teacher (1-2 years)
-Volunteer: 200+ hours
Please be critical in your evaluation. I am open to any critique from all of you!

Hi there,
Thanks for posting and sharing. It sounds like you juggled a lot in undergrad but have now found your path you are more interested in, which is business. In terms of being competitive, I think UCLA will likely be a stretch for you to be honest. I think USC could work, if you do a great job on your GMAT, and would be better if you maybe worked one more year and/or sought out some more management or leadership experience along the way. You will also need to explain how you went from pre-med to teaching and now to business, and how you feel your teaching experience is relevant (which I feel it can be, you just have to make that case).
