Hi
I am a female Civil Structural Engineer with around 8.5 years of experience in energy sector (oil and gas and power).I have been involved in various inclusion and diversity programs at the global level and have served as the deputy lead on my last project in one of the top 100 firms of the world.
Came to the US in Dec 2015 in order to support my family in general and my 3-year old daughter in particular and have not been working for anyone since then.
Gave GMAT in Aug 2017
The GMAT score is -
700 (Q-49, V-36,IR-7)
AWA-yet to receive
GPA-4
Target schools-Darden
UNC-Kenan Flagger
NYU Stern
Harvard
Stanford
Wharton
I have been involved in various community programs concerning women and children, social causes related to the old people and have volunteered in several community building programs such as Manchester Road Race in the United states.
Moderately involved in sports, active interest in dance, art and other creative fields.
How well do I stand if I put my best in the applications for the above mentioned in specific and top 15 in general.

Hi there, and thanks for writing! Since December 2015, though you haven't been working full-time, have you done any consulting work and also, has the extracurricular involvement taken place during that time? Though gaps in employment do happen, the programs would want to see how you've been spending that time. I think that H/S/W are likely out of reach, but for other schools, you'll want to make a strong case for why NOW is the right time for an MBA and how the program's resources would benefit you personally and professionally. One thing to be aware of is that for full-time programs, students generally have 3-7 years of work experience, so it can be challenging to apply with more than that.
