I have just appeared for GMAT and have been able to score 700(V35,Q49). I am an Indian, male, engineer (B.E. Mech) with 2 years of experience.

Thanks for posting. Getting into b-school is about much more than your GMAT so please make sure you round out your profile with great leadership at work and solid extracurriculars. On the GMAT front, here's the thing...for the top b-schools, 700 is a tough number. For your demographic, which normally submits with 750+, it will be even harder. If you are open to b-schools outside the Top 20, that will be your best option right now. The good news is that your Quant score is very strong. You just need to up your Verbal. So to really strengthen your candidacy, I recommend trying again and trying to increase your verbal score and thus your overall score.
