Background
Work experience: 3 years as a developer in the world's largest payments technology company(V***). While here I have played a pivotal role in a few high impact project. These projects have resulted in me earning a global leadership award( a handful are awarded every year in a company of 10000), a number of achievement awards (Top 0.2% employees), and finally a promotion with the highest possible employee rating each year. I've got a month of international experience and work in a team spreading across 4 countries.
Extra curricular: I am active with teams both inside my company and outside my company that actively help underprivileged children. I have worked as a teacher and a career counsellor for these kids. Apart from that, I do a bit of boxing and know French.
Undergrad school/major: Top 10 School in India
Other education/coursework: Currently enrolled in HBX Core.

Hi Anurag1992. Your background is impressive. You have great work experience, terrific grades, a high GMAT and meaningful community service. The HBX Core course also demonstrates your seriousness about pursuing a top MBA. Your list of schools sounds reasonable given your strong profile. As I'm sure you know, however, more highly qualified applicants apply to these top programs than can be admitted and so the admissions committees often have to make tough decisions. Try to apply in Round One and target at least 5 schools on your list to reduce your risk.
As for which schools - do a bit of exploration to figure out which ones are the best fits with what you might be looking for in an MBA program. All of them will attract top consulting firms to some degree, but the mix of firms/offices and depth of recruiting effort will vary. You might also check out Tuck and Darden - the case method is a great fit for those who want to transition into strategy consulting and they both have really strong pipelines into MBB. Once you've picked your schools, a great execution of your applications will be key. Do your best to spend time reflecting on your experiences and motivations before tackling the essays; your answers to their questions should be honest and thoughtful, showing maturity and direction. You'll also want to look for opportunities to demonstrate that you are a good fit with their specific programs and will contribute to their community both on campus and beyond.
