I am applying to business school in the fall of 2019 with targets being UVA, UCLA, Cornell. I went to a top 5 liberal arts school and was a 4 year varsity athlete. I achieved a 720 GMAT, however, my GPA is on the low side at 3.2. I have 3 years experience at a real estate investment firm in NYC and would like to continue to pursue real estate after my MBA.
-First, what do you think my chances are at these schools with these stats and do you have any other suggestions of good fits?
-Second, I am looking to pursue an alternative transcript and take a class or two as I got a C+ in my intro to Calc and Statistics (with upward trajectory from then on). I am based in NYC and was wondering if you might have any suggestions of courses to compensate for Intro Calc/Statistics courses that are not too labor intensive. How do you think the following would appear to an ADCOM?(leaning towards the NYU course)
Baruch College-INTRODUCTION TO STATISTICS AND PROBABILITY
NYU-FINANCE MATH/STATISTICS: A SKILL ENHANCEMENT AND REVIEW COURSE
Open to suggestions!
