Sounds like a solid score; however keep in mind that GMAT is only one piece of the profile and application... most MBA programs look at your profile holistically, from academic ability (past academic performance + GMAT); to work experience and leadership potential (including accomplishments, impact, recognitions at work, and recommendations, and career goals as well); to personal character and involvement (extracurriculars, community involvement, personal traits evidenced in entire application including interviews); and fit with the school. It is always a good indicator to be close to a school's average GMAT, or ideally above it for better overall chances, so check out averages and class profiles for programs you are interested in.
